Carburetor change

Carburetor itself was easy to change out. However, the old wiring harness on the trimmer was too short to plug intonthe new carb. I had to install the new wiring harness which required more disassembly than expected. Someone should point that out upfront. Parts did work perfect after installation.

Carburetor was easy to install !!

It only took 5 minutes to install and after installing it I trimmed all the edges on my back yard and front yard switched over to the hedge adapter and cut all the hedges. Thank you Sears for the on time delivery and GREAT on line service you will always have my business !!

easy install with one catch

The carb was not an exact replacement, it fit fine but the shutoff selinoid is built in on the new carb. Because of this the wiring conectors are different, the spade conectors on the new wiring are female. The weed wacker conections are also female. A minor hassle but after getting everything connected it works better then when I bought it. Easy start, idles smooth and runs up to speed like it should. Now it doesn't die when I throttle it. Very pleased with way it runs now.
