Control board was faulty. Causing the washer to start a cycle when I turned the power back on. With out pushing any buttons. Returned it and waiting for my refund

I like trying things myself first, but found i stalling this more difficult than I could handle - Maybe it was just the awkward angle behind the washer, but I had trouble pulling out the cords and there were more of them than I expected. I ended up hiring an independent repairman to i stall it. The repairman said that one had to take care to always be grounded when handling the control panel, because static electricity could mess it up. So I wish I had known that (assuming it's true). In the end, the part was what I needed and the washer works now! I'm sure I saved money by having the part ready for the repairman, so that he didn't have to order the part and then come back a second time.
