This mounting stem and seal kit (part number 6-2095720) is for washers.

Mounting stem and seal kit 6-2095720 holds the wash tub on the transmission shaft and prevents leaking between the tub and the shaft.

Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Successful but install took effort & creativity

Video from another parts supplier was very helpful. Included instructions were sparse. Calcification from ongoing leak required that I scrape, treat with acid, heat w/ propane torch and apply 5# sledge to dislodge. SPECIAL TOOL IS ESSENTIAL--which Sears didn't emphasize. Without info from other supplier the repair would have failed.
