No master link to mess with. Loosen the 2 bar mount nuts then adjust slack adjuster. The chain comes right out. Easy.

A half dozen screws and two nuts and the job was done. No special tools were required. Clearing the sawdust out took longer than replacing the chain.

I have an old Sears chainsaw, made in America, inherited from my father who died nearly 13 years ago. So definitely wanted to hang into it. Ordered a new chainsaw chain, simple install and what a difference that made. Good clean quick cuts. Just wish shipping was less expensive.
