Not the problem
Checked continuity, good on red wires sensor no continuity on orange wires sensor. Have to call certified repair man. The wraps holding sensor created condition whereby I punctures evaporator

Simple Installation Job
There are several Yutube videos and forum articles that show step-by-step how to replace this part in a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. My refrigerator is 5+ years old and started making the fan clicking noise due to ice buildup. Unplugging the fridge for 8-10 hours would allow enough ice to melt so it would operate normally. But the long term solution (keeping my fingers crossed) was to replace the defrost sensor assembly. It takes longer to remove shelves and the back panel than to replace the part. Sears Direct provided tracking for shipping the part.
