The new one did not have threads to screw the new one on with my old screws. I had to go to the hardware store and buy self threading screws and make threads to install the new spindle. Easy to take the old one off and put the new one on after that.

It was easy to install. I would suggest buying the self tapping bolts that hold it in. Mine were fine, but for a little more, you con be prepared for bad bolt .
