I didn't fit my fridge

Despite it mentions that it is the right part for my fridge (freezer door handle), the screw was a little wider and didn't solve my issue. I paid for something that I cannot return. My fridge model number is FGHB2868TF7.

Part # 218755402 replaces the part # 218755407
