Required modification prior to installation
OEM heater had a plug connector on each end of the the leads that came out of the U shaped heater. Replacement heater had both leads going into one plug connector. Also, the old heater had a temp sensor wired in series with the heater. New heart didn't come with it wired in series. Luckily I ordereda sensor just in case because IT DOES NOT come with a sensor.

Installation not easy but doable
Requires so preplanning. Old part took time to get untangled from coil and metal surround.

wrong part
even though this was described as the heater for my model number it was slightly small and had a different connector that would not fit my fridge

It was easy to install
It took about 30 minutes to install. Make sure you keep track of wiring were it goes.
