Maytag 3000 Series Washer Door Lock
Simply removed the wire to access the lock for the door. Pulled the door lock free from the metal housing after removing to allen screws. Disconnect 3 wire connectors (all unique, so you can't make a mistake). Attached the new door lock to the 3 wire connectors, put back on metal housing using the 2 allen screws. Turned on the washer and ran a cycle to test. Door locked as before and the wash continued without the F22 error on the readout.

not hard to install
I used a 1/4" nut driver and was able to dis mantle the top of the washer and the control panel. In my case I also needed a Torx screwdriver. A T15 screw held the door lock in place. 3 different sets of wire harnesses were attached to the lock and boom it was done. Too bad it didn't solve the issue. I wound up calling a repair shop.

Kenmore HEt2 plus washing machine F26 error
The installation was fairly easy but it did not fix my issue. I was receiving an F26 error on my Kenmore HEt2 plus washing machine. The door would lock, cycle stalled. The only way to unlock the door was with the manual latch release. None of the troubleshooting suggestions fixed this issue

Door lock for front loader washer
Easy to install but the screws didn't come with it. But anyway I used the original ones and took a long time to screw them in because it takes a lot of strength and I didn't have the special tool for it so I had to find a small Phillips screw driver to be able to fit these stupid screws back off and back on.

Fairly easy to install
This part solved our broken latch issue. It was not hard to install, but is much easier if you have small hands!
