You would think that the original seller /manufacturer would have the best repair instructions. But in the case of Sears and fixing my Kenmore refrigerator this is clearly not the case. I looked up the model and instructions online Sears PartsDirect and it looked like I could handle the project so I ordered the parts. But once I started making the repairs, it seemed as though the instructions weren't accurate and must be missing some steps. Sure enough, once I did further research on other websites I confirmed that the instructions Sears PartsDirect supplied online were in fact not accurate and not complete. As a result, I didn't have all the tools I needed with me and thus could not complete the repair.
