The Husqvarna Lawn Tractor Mandrel Assembly (part number 587125201) replaces part numbers 532174356, 174356, and 539107515. It connects to the mower deck and spins the blades, playing a key role in achieving consistent and even mowing results.
This assembly comes pre-filled with grease for proper operation?do not add more grease during installation. If your mower is producing uneven cuts or excessive vibration, a worn mandrel assembly could be the issue. Replacing it helps restore balance and cutting precision.
Note that the mounting holes on this part are not threaded. To install, you?ll need self-tapping bolt 584953901 to secure it properly. Always disconnect the spark plug and wear work gloves before beginning any repair.

part arrived in only 4 business days. Replaced blade spindle on my Craftsman Lawn tractor. The only down side was they didn't include the mounting bolts. The old bolts are designed to break off when you try to remove them.

Since I had already ordered the replacement deck, I had later found that all 3 of the existing mandrels were bad too, I ordered these replacements and they went right in, perfect fit, I also ordered the under deck protection rings, in total 10 minutes each to install
