Exactly Right
The part was exactly right and fit perfectly. Installation wasn't too bad, with the worst part getting the microwave oven down and back up. Would have had to do that with a new oven, and the 30 minutes it too to replace the part more than paid for itself. Wife is saying it makes the oven act like it is new.

The installation of the Magnetron was smooth
Magnetron was easy to install but since no install instructions came with shipped repair part, had to go on YouTube for advise.Getting over the counter Microwave down, cleaning off 13 years of grease and re-installing back over the counter by myself was a chore.But ÒsuccessfulÓ replacement made up for any hardship.

Perfect
Our 2014 LG microwave suddenly stopped working mid-2019 and LG wouldn't cover the cost to repair it because we didn't have the proof of purchase for the microwave. (Overhead mounted microwave in a new house, but we are the second owners). I was very annoyed with the prospect of potentially having to purchase a new $200+ microwave, but after some research I realized it might be pretty simple to fix. There are definitely some electrical dangers involved with this, so if you do find yourself replacing this component, take the time to thoroughly research the process and be safe.
