This is the first time I have tried to repair a washing machine. After looking at new machines I decided to look into what might be the cause for the problem of the cold water taking a long time to fill the tub. When I saw the assembly diagram for my machine I bought the part. The day after it arrived I replaced the assembly with very little problem. The washing machine is working like new now.
