Pretty simple to install, works like a champ
This was a direct replacement (the part number was still on the old belt). It took maybe 20 minutes to replace. The most time consuming part was removing/replacing the myriad of screws holding the back panel. The hardest part was removing the strips of the old belt that had wound around the motor shaft (make sure the shaft is clear of these). Be prepared to find that the new belt is REALLY tight. Side-by-side, my old belt reached over an inch further. I mounted the belt by putting it on the motor pulley and then winding it around the larger drum pulley, holding it tightly so it didn't slip off as I spun the drum. It must be putting a lot of tension on the bearings, but I guess they're designed for it. My washer works just fine now, saving me the cost of a new one.

Replacement belt does not fit!
My washer: 110.46472501 (HE2). WP854010 is the listed replacement? It is 2" too short!

Washer drive belt installation
It was very easy to install. Unplug electrical wire from outlet Just remove water lines Remove top of washer, about 4 screws in back of washer. Remove top brack on washer, it will flip up. Remove back cover of washer, remove water drain hose. One screw will be attaching it to back cover. Now the back of washer is open, you should be able to see the washer drum a the drive pulley on drum. In the lower right corner at the bottom you should see a closed bracket, the shaft of the motor with grooves on it, and the motor. On the washer belt on the sides, you have a smooth side and a side look what appears to be a ripped side. You start by slipping the ripped side of the belt through the support bracket just above the motor, then once through, you put the belt around the motor shaft with the grooves seated on the shaft. The other end of the belt you start by placing the belt on top of the pulley with the grooves flat down on the pulley turning it counterclockwise until the belt is installed.
