The wrong part was sent.

The part is easy to remove, and easy to install. The replacement part was supposed to have mechanical switches, but only had electronic switches; it was the wrong part. I returned the part for a refund, and Sears rejected the refund.

The original part looked different from the replacement; however, install was simple and the new component fit and works perfectly. One note: the screws we're stripped but the original assembly so I had the use a Dremil to cut the plastic away on the original control board and then used pliers to remove the stripped screws. There may have been an easier way, this worked for me. If your screws are in good shape, you could do this repair in less than 10 minutes.
