This wall control (part number 53687) is for garage door openers.
Wall control 53687 controls the motion of the door, as well as lighting and programming. It attaches to the garage wall beside the entry into the house. Wires connect it to the logic board on the motor unit.

Proper Part, Exact Replacement
The best part about this was that the description and picture were accurate and it was an exact replacement for the 2007 opener that was installed. It wasn't even necessary to use the instructions that came with it since the wiring was identical. You can't tell the difference from the old one.

installation of control opener
spent 30 minutes trying to install. The wiring was no problem but still trying to get the control to move the garage door after the cover in attached. Works find with out the cover but as soon as the cover is put on the control will not work. Still not operating
