Reviews
Exact fit
Replaced along with the shoulder spacer. Over 450 hours on the original turned the pivot hole to go from round to oval, and had caused terrible vibration when engaging the blades. Now I am ready to mow!

Installing the idler bracket
Replacing the bracket was interesting but not hard. First you should take pictures of how the bracket and springs go on BEFORE removing them. There are NO illustrations showing how all these pieces go back together in any of the literature I could find. So, again take pictures. I have no one to blame but myself on this and I should have known better. When removing the mower deck tie the brackets up and out of the way so you don't get hung up on them while sliding the deck out. The pivot bushing and the bracket were both worn and the bottom spacer was missing completely which allowed the bracket / idler pulley to tilt and throw the belt. Make sure the self tapping screws on the bracket that bolts to the idler pulley bracket are squair to the bracket and not slightly off so the they hold it securely (they should have been tapped at the factory). Before tightening the bracket down install the cable / spring to the idler bracket , it goes under the rod and belt and must be hooked to the bracket before tightening down the nut and bolt holding the bracket to the deck. When replacing the spring that isn't attached to a cable it hooks to the rod that goes to the opposite idler bracket and to the tab on the mower deck that the cable / spring passes thru. you can see the slight wear marks on both.
