There was no installation.

The original charger died so had to find a new one. Site said this unit would replace the original one I had so I thought I'd try it. All I had to do was plug it in and recharge my batteries. So far, so good.

The original model of the Craftsman battery charger is no longer available, but this replacement charger fit perfectly, and charged my batteries without an issue.
