Fit right on it.
Fit right on my chain saw. Put it back together, gassed it up and three pulls and it fired right up! It helps a lot when you have the right parts.

Good quality, but wrong part for model number
The part itself is easy to install, in less than 15 minutes. However, after inputting my model number, and having this recommended, I purchased it without hesitation. My past experiences with Sears Parts Direct have been good, with all parts fitting as they should, whether it be a fridge, stove, microwave, mower, etc. However, my Craftsman chain saw, bought new from Sears a long while ago, is apparently an obsolete model. When I received the part, I quickly noticed the needle bearing had a bigger ID, and did not fit the shaft on my chainsaw. I then tried to simply swap the bearing from my old clutch drum to the new one, but the OD of the old bearing was smaller than the OD of the new bearing. Lastly, in a desperate attempt to find a solution, I searched the local hardware stores for a sleeve bushing to make up the 1mm distance between the 8mm shaft on my chainsaw, and the 10mm ID of the new bearing. No such luck. I was forced to find a new needle bearing with a 14mm OD to match the new clutch drum, and an 8mm ID to match the shaft on the chainsaw. It was only available overseas, and is due in approximately beginning to mid-August. I would've simply returned it and ordered the correct one, however, this was supposed to be the correct clutch drum, and is the only one they have. After I ordered the new bearing, I went back onto searspartsdirect.com to check fitment. Again, after putting in my model number, this same clutch drum popped up. I clicked on the part directly, and in the box that said "check fitment", I input my model number again, and all of the sudden it says it is not compatible. No, really? So my chainsaw fix was delayed another 3 weeks while I wait on the correct bearing. Thank god I don't use this saw to make any money. Moral of the story: If your Craftsman power tool is more than 3 years old, go buy something new, and get a better quality tool. Pay more now to pay less later and avoid these headache's.
