Special details: If the dryer timer advances in the timed dry cycle but not the automatic moisture sensing cycle, the problem could be the moisture sensing control board. If you replace the moisture sensing control board and the timer still won't advance in the moisture sensing cycle, replace timer WP3397273.

Simple to replace this timer. Be sure to snap some pictures before removing the old one to aid in putting connectors back in the right places (although they are all labeled). Thought I had the wrong part, because mine had a jumper between the 2 bottom right connectors, but the newer "B" revision already bridged the two connectors, so no jumper needed. Nice to have everything back in working condition! No more backwards running timer!
