the original screw had a square shoulder to fit in the square hole, so it wouldn't turn while the ny-loc nut was being applied, the replacement I received had a round shoulder and a hex head (instead of the low-profile round head of the original) which requires another tool to hold it while applying the nut and also has a higher profile on the side of the paddles.
