Cancelled Order

I received an email that it was going to be backordered. I chatted with someone online that I wanted to cancel this order. I was told that the order would be cancelled and I would be refunded my money. I was never refunded my money and the belt eventually arrived. Which then I had to go online and do a return, get it back to UPS to send back and now waiting on my refund. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Good DIY Part, but Pricey vs Alternatives

Replacement belt was the right part and installation was fairly easy. However, pricing was more than 3x the cost of the generic brand at local home improvement stores.

Dryer Belt

After buying only a belt online for over $26.00 (counting the rip-off shipping price), my daughter went online 11 hours later on Amazon, ordered it for $17.77 (free shipping) which included the pulley and a pair rear wheels and it came in one day sooner. People need those parts ASAP and Sears charged more for one piece and it arrived a day later than the Whirlpool repair "KIT" my daughter ordered for me.

Pretty easy to install

It took about 45 mins but it was the first time I did it. If I have to do it again, I'm sure it'll take less time. The video on Sears website wasn't very helpful. I had to google the video for a high efficiency dryer. The hardest part was having to push the tensioner with 1 hand while wrapping the belt around the pulley with my other hand. In the video it shows the guy doing it all with 1 hand. Also my son had to hold the drum up while I had the dryer apart, so it takes 2 people.

had to dismantle the whole dryer to replace the belt, took longer to get the part then to tear the dryer apart and put it back together again. About an hour.
