Simple Repair

Before my sister's new Whirlpool oven could be installed, sister's dogs damaged a metal gas line that runs up the back side of the gas oven/range. They were chasing a mouse or some such little creature, and actually crushed and punctured the aluminum gas line. Sears Parts Direct had the parts diagrams for the oven, which made it easy to identify and order the needed part. Installation was simple, requiring only a srewdriver and a small wrench. The only negative part of the experience was the time it took to receive the part (about 3 weeks). Email updates bounced back and forth between 'preparing to ship' and 'back ordered' and 'preparing to ship' and 'back ordered,' then unexpectedly just arrived.
