Not equivalent to Part 28-11
For my 42" Core Plugger (610.243280), the spring is wound 1 additional time than the OEM spring (28-11), making it too thick to install the tine. I had to squeeze the tine to distort it and make it narrower so that it would work.

Bought a good used Craftsman 48' aerator but' Not sure how to install. A pic or directions would be great appreciated. I'm sure I'm making it way to difficult.

Exactly as described
Very difficult to find parts. After spending a lot of time searching different sites, I found a part conversion list for Sears parts. Ordered both the aerator springs and tines. Both arrived very quickly and were exactly what I need.
