DeWalt jointer/planer maintenance tips
Unplug the jointer/planer and blow out all sawdust and wood chips after each use. Wipe down the planer with a damp cloth.
Examine jointer/planer blades before each use. Keep jointer/planer blades sharp for best performance and safety.
Check the carbon motor brushes regularly. Replace the carbon motor brushes when they wear down to their wear replacement mark. Replace both carbon brushes at the same time.
