Won't power up. Make sure that the power cord is plugged fully into the electrical outlet. Check the electrical outlet for power by plugging a small appliance into the outlet. Reset the house circuit breaker for the outlet if the outlet is dead.
Check the power cord for damage. Unplug the microwave and have a service technician replace the power cord if it's damaged.
If the power cord is okay, then a wiring failure, bad electronic control board, blown fuse or faulty control panel could be preventing the microwave from powering up.
Exhaust fan won't run. Unplug the microwave and check the exhaust fan wiring. Reconnect any loose wires and replace any broken wires. If the wiring is okay, you may need to replace the exhaust fan because its motor failed.
Turntable won't rotate. Check the control settings because many Panasonic microwaves have a control feature that turns off turntable rotation. Follow the directions in your owner's manual to set turntable controls. If the turntable control feature is set properly, then a failed turntable motor may be preventing the turntable from moving. Replace the turntable motor if it doesn't run when it receives current from the control.
Won't heat food. Check the control settings to make sure you have the correct power level set. If the power level is set correctly, a failed electronic control board, blown fuse or bad magnetron could be preventing the microwave from heating food.
