Worked as expected. DIY installation was straightforward. Remove 10 screws. Pop the interior case forward from the door to unplug/plug in the new one. Snap and screw back together and let the magic happen.

A little pricey compaired to Amazon or ebay but I trust Sears more than ebay that is why I purchased the item from Sears. At first the ice Maker would not work but after 2 resets it started working. This is the 4th Ice maker I have installed in this Samsung frig. No more Samsung appliances.

Could not install - received damaged.

Received damaged - polarized electrical connector damaged. Plastic connector pieces in bubble wrap bag ice maker wrapped in. Connector plastic degraded - very brittle.

I ordered the part from another company previously and was sent the wrong ice maker for my Samsung refrig. Replacing it was near impossible and have been waiting for MONTHS! I finally said that I would just eat the cost and spring for one with a different company. Sears had it and was very clear in its description, very fair priced and, it arrived within less than a week from ordering it and it works like a charm!

THE PART WAS RETURNED THE NEXT DAY. IT WAS OBVIOUS IT WAS USED, IT WAS THROWN IN A CARDBOARD BOX WITH SOME BUBBLE WRAP AND SHIPPED.IF IT WAS NEW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SEALED IN A PLASTIC WRAP OR SOMETHING ALONG WITH PAPER WORK. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SEARS.HOPE I GET MY MONEY BACK SOON,WITHOUT A HASSLE.IT ALSO HAD WATER STAINS IN THE ICE TRAY
