Common parts of a Jenn Air blender that may need replacing

  • Mixing Jar. The mixing jar holds items that you're blending. Replace the jar if it's cracked or broken.
  • Jar lid. The mixing jar lid keeps liquids and food items from splashing out of the top of the jar when blending. Replace the lid if it's damaged or leaking.
  • Blade assembly. The blade assembly chops and blends items in the jar. Replace the blade assembly if the blades get dull or damaged.
  • Drive motor. The drive motor spins the cutting blades. Replace the drive motor if it doesn't run when activated.

Troubleshooting your Jenn Air blender when it won't run

  • Check for electrical power. Make sure that the electrical outlet that you're using for the blender has power. Reset the house circuit breaker for the outlet if it's dead.
  • Unplug the blender and check the power cord. Replace the power cord if it's damaged.
  • Check the power cord wiring connections (with the blender still unplugged). Reconnect any loose power cord wires.
  • With the blender still unplugged, check the wiring between the control switch assembly and the motor. Reconnect any loose wires and repair any broken wires.
  • If wiring connections are okay, you'll likely need to replace the switch assembly or the motor.
