Tweeter. The tweeter is a speaker component that produces the clear, crisp high frequency sounds above 2kHz up to around 20kHz in the speaker.
Woofer. The woofer is a speaker component that produces bass sounds in the frequency range of about 50Hz-1kHz in the speaker.
Speaker grill. The speaker grill covers and protects the front of the speaker components while allowing sound to pass easily through the grill.

Cleaning the speaker wire terminals on Soundesign speakers
Turn off the amplifier or receiver that you have the speakers connected to.
Disconnect all speaker wires from the backs of the speakers.
Use a vacuum cleaner hose with a narrow hose attachment to vacuum dust and debris from all speaker wire terminals.
Use a cotton swab moistened with isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean deposits from all speaker wire terminals.
Allow the terminals to dry completely then reconnect all speaker wires.
