Troubleshooting your LG compact refrigerator when it's not cooling at all
If the refrigerator isn't running, check the power cord to make sure it's plugged into the wall outlet. Check the wall outlet for power. Check for damage to the power cord. Replace the power cord if it's damaged.
Check the control to make sure you have the refrigerator turned on. Adjust the control if necessary.
If the refrigerator runs but doesn't cool, the sealed system may have a leak or the compressor could be bad.
How to clean the condenser coils on your LG compact refrigerator
- Unplug the refrigerator to disconnect electrical power.
- Pull the refrigerator out from the wall or from under the counter so you can access the condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator.
- Use a brush to clean dust and dirt off the condenser coils. Vacuum the area to pick up the dust.
- Move the refrigerator back into place and plug in the power cord to restore electrical power.
