The inlet thermistor (temperature sensor) is defective

Check/Repair

The inlet thermistor on the side of the inlet air duct inside the dryer measures the temperature of heated air entering the dryer drum. Unplug the dryer and reconnect any loose wires on the inlet thermistor. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wires are okay, replace the inlet thermistor.

The outlet thermistor (temperature sensor) is defective

Check/Repair

The outlet thermistor on the blower housing behind the fan measures the temperature of heated air leaving the dryer drum. Unplug the dryer and reconnect any loose wires on the outlet thermistor. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wires are okay, replace the outlet thermistor.

The main control board is defective

Check/Repair

Unplug the dryer for 3 minutes to reset the main control board. Replace the main control board if the code returns when you restore power.

Stuck button on the control panel

Check/Repair

Push each button on the control panel to free the stuck button. If the code doesn't clear, unplug the dryer and replace any damaged control panel components. If the control panel components are okay, replace the main control board.

Power supply is mis-wired

Check/Repair

The Line 2 (L2) and Neutral (N) are reversed. Correct the power cord wiring connections on the terminal block, following the installation instructions.

Door switch not opening; 5 cycles ran without the door switch opening

Check/Repair

Unplug the dryer and reconnect any loose wires on the door switch. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wires are okay, replace the door switch.

Drive motor problem

Check/Repair

If the drive motor won't run, unplug the dryer and reconnect any loose wires on the drive motor. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Replace any drive system components that prevent the drum from rotating smoothly. If the wiring and drive components are okay, replace the drive motor. If the dryer motor won't shut off unless the dryer is unplugged, replace the main control board because a relay on the main control board must be stuck, preventing the drive motor from shutting off.
