Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven and replace the electronic oven control board.

User interface won't respond

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Open the control panel and reconnect any loose wiring connections. Replace the user interface wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness connections are okay, replace the user interface.

Defective button on the user interface

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven and replace the user interface.

Upper oven temperature sensor is defective

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the upper oven temperature sensor. Replace the upper oven temperature sensor wire harness if damaged. Measure the upper oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the upper oven temperature sensor. If the sensor and wire harness are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.

Lower oven temperature sensor is defective

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the lower oven temperature sensor. Replace the lower oven temperature sensor wire harness if damaged. Measure the lower oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the lower oven temperature sensor. If the sensor and wire harness are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.

Meat probe is defective

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the meat probe connection jack. Replace the meat probe connection jack wiring harness if damaged. Replace the meat probe connection jack if damaged. If the meat probe connection jack and wiring harness are okay, replace the meat probe. If the problem persists, replace the electronic oven control board.

The oven door switch and oven door lock switch don't agree

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven door switch and the oven door lock assembly. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Replace the oven door switch or oven door lock assembly if damaged. If the oven door switch, oven door lock assembly and wire harness are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven door lock assembly. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the oven door lock assembly. If the problem persists, replace the electronic oven control board.

Check/Repair

Disconnect electrical power from the oven. Reconnect any loose wires on the electronic oven control board and the user interface. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wiring is okay, replace the user interface. If the problem persists, replace the electronic oven control board.

Oven too hot in Bake or Broil mode

Check/Repair

If an element heats when the oven is off (indicating a short to the metal cabinet), replace it. If it overheats only when in use, disconnect electrical power from the oven and allow the oven to cool to room temperature. Replace the bake or broil element if visibly damaged. If the elements are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.
