ridiculously easy install

Turn the rubber handled selector counter clockwise to screw it off, lift out the clear plastic cover then pry the black needle selector piece of carefully with a narrow screw driver. Unscrew the 2 screws holding the timer to the face. Remove the 2 screws that hold the controls cover and lift it. Unplug the timer, and maybe the secondary connection for ease of handling. Plug in the new timer and secondary connection if unplugged. Put it all back together and do your wash. One tip, the new timer's screw holes are not threaded, so you have to force the new screws into the holes and have them tap the threading as you go, then back them out to have the holes ready for putting the timer in place. Do this before connecting the timer. It will make it easier putting the new screws in when you have the timer in place.

Washer working again!
March 25, 2020

This was the correct replacement timer for my washing machine.I received it in a very dusty, dirty condition but it works none the less.Only problem was the mounting holes were not threaded but I thread tapped them myself.

it was an exact fit to replace the 24 year old timer. simple to install. it's just a matter of having the right tools: a 1/4 inch nut driver with a long extension, and a Philips head #1 screwdriver.
