Opened the dryer, tested switches and thermostats with my multimeter, and found this one to be faulty. Used this website with my model number and found this replacement. Installed it, put the dryer back together, and it worked. Made sure to clean out the ducting while dryer was disconnected.

Simple but important piece--worked great

On my dyer, it's hard to get to this piece, but once there, it fit just fine. I just had to pull the dyer drum, but whether its hard or not, you gotta get to it. The part fit fine and is working strong. The old thermostat had blitzed when the power was restored to my house after a power outage. So I ordered 2 thermostats in case it happens again. They're super cheap.
