Calling for refund.
I am requesting a refund for the wrong part sent to me. My description of the start switch needed, including manufacturer and part number, was accurate. I was sent a part that is meant for a different model dryer. I had to install the part due to need for the appliance. However, the part did not fit, It was too large for my dryer and the attachment holes and screws did not match up. I had to make adjustments that proved quite difficult. After installation the on/off switch was still inoperable. I have been forced to order a relay switch to compensate for the part you sent at a cost of $37, not to mention the additional time and effort required to install that part. I request a refund for your error.

It worked!
We have an older Kenmore dryer and the switch stopped working properly. We ordered the part ourselves because it appeared easy enough to install though we are not very handy. The part that broke looked exactly the same as in the photo, however what we received looked different: instead of a hollow rectangle, it had a solid triangular shape and in the back instead of a square plastic shape, it had a star shape. The YouTube videos we found didn't say anything about those differences so at first we thought we had been sent the wrong part. We called and were refunded the part and sent another one that was supposedly the correct one. When we received it, it was the same part we returned! So, we once again tried and realized that while the shape in the back of the piece was different, if you align the star diagonally to fit the corners of the square in the hole that's in the machine, the part will go in and all you have to do to secure it is twist it clockwise and the tip of the triangle fits on the little slot on the metal part of the machine next to it. Once we did that, everything worked!!! We saved a few $ on a service call and felt very proud of ourselves! Sorry we don't have photos to share...

WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED
I have an older dryer and specifically asked for the replacement to have the square part, not a pro g to insert. The CS person assured me it would be a square. I had already ordered the part form other companies with the same problem of not sending what I need. AND IT WAS BROKE
