Don't forget the broom
Gather the tools: 1/4 inch nut driver , Phillips screwdriver , broom & dustpan . Pull out , unplug and be amazed by everything underneath your stove .

The part that was sent was different from the original. There weren't any instructions showing what wire went to what contact.

Replacement part different appearances
The only issue I had was it should come with a basic wiring instruction sheet. This part replaced a 20 something year old part so they looked nothing alike.

very easy to install
I opened the main breaker and removed power from the stove. Then simply remove the back cover of the upper stove, I removed the wires one at a time and installed them in the correct terminal on the new infinite switch so there was no confusion or notes needed. Then placed the new switch in position and attached to the stove. Returned power to the stove and checked the operation of the burner. It appears to have corrected the problem. We will cook on it and verify that it is corrected..
