INSTALLING RUBBER GASKET ON 1994 KENMORE FRIDGE.

TOOK SOME WORK BUT FIGURED IT OUT. YOU CAN'T JUST REMOVE THE OLD GASKET AND REINSERT THE NEW ONE, JUST LIKE THAT. IT DOES TAKE SOME TIME, AS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE OR LOSEN SOME HEX SCREWS AND THAT TAKES TIME TOO. I HAD A HARD TIME FINDING VIDEOS OR ANY INFO REGARDING THIS PROCESS, SO HAD TO FIGURE IT OUT MYSELF. THAT WORKED FINE, ONCE I DID. I LOSEN 5 OR 6 HEX AND PHILIPS SCREWS AT A TIME, AND INSERT THE GASKET A LITTLE AT A TIME. THEN ON TO THE LOOSENING THE NEXT SET AND SO ON, TILL I COMPLETED THE JOB.

This gasket is a bear to install, It's installed on three sides, but I need to remove the door to get in to fit in the bottom. I have at least 4 hours invested. I would never have done this if I knew. The gasket presently hangs on the bottom. I decided to use a screen replacement roller to assist in shoving the gasket into the plastic track. Think twice before trying this!
