The replacement lower spray arm for the Kenmore Elite dishwasher is way over priced. We bought it because it was less expensive than buying a new dishwasher. It was tricky to install but it finally worked.

Part was super expensive, after ordering from Sears PartsDirect I found the same exact part on another web sight half of the cost that sears charge, the part was exactly the same it was just Whirlpool instead of Kenmore Elite, and for the price it should last for a couple of at least 20 years. I paid 300.00 dollars and found it later for 150.00 dollars...

The spray arm as delivered would not work. The long arms hit the inside of the washer. After examining it and the old one I realized it had been assembled wrong. I took it apart, fixed the timing on the long arms so it matched the original and reassembled. It works now.
