Door seal 00494772 seals the gap between the opening to the dishwasher tub and the outer edge of the door.

After installing the door seal, shut the dishwasher door and leave the door closed for several hours to properly seat the new door seal.

Does not stop leak.

Part did not stop the leaking from my dishwasher. Put the old gasket back in for now. Less water leaking that way. New gasket seems to be made of a stiffer material than the original.

No surprises and looked like the original in new condition. Will buy again. Had to guess how much to leave on one, remove it and try a second time to space it correctly but this was very easy to replace.
