The selection process for this part was easy as long as you had the model number. I have a 15-year old KitchenAid oven and was worried I'd never find the part. Arrived in perfect shape and on time. Installation was trickier than what was on YouTube -- that might have been a newer model -- but did figure it out and all was done in about a 1/2 hour. Working just fine!

I have this older model of KitchenAid KEMS308GSS0 Most videos assume a hinge lock. It does not have a hinge lock. This video helped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7oRZdIN6m0&ab_channel=condor5635 Two similar small allen wrenches and one ordinary phillips were necessary. Other than cleaning no other tools were required. Door is heavy. Have a clean, soft place to set everything, such as a sheet you can trash laid on a couch. Much less expensive than hiring repair.
