Special details: In an electric dryer, if the timer advances in the timed dry cycle but not the automatic moisture sensing cycle, unplug the dryer and check continuity through the resistor using a multimeter. The resistor connects to the timer through the orange wire. Replace the resistor (part number 279872) if you measure infinite resistance. If the timer still doesn't advance in the moisture sensing cycle after replacing the resistor, replace timer WP3976575.

Easy to install but defective
Will be returning, with my old broken one the dryer worked this one is defective and the dryer Doesn't even work with the new one . Obviously quality control missed something and I'll be sending it back
