Great Buying experience

Sears direct made this experience go so smooth. Even after I purchased the incorrect part, completely my fault. They let me return the incorrect part and got the new part to me in great time. Part fit great and I got my wife's washing machine back up and working in half day. Highly recommend Sears parts direct.

Entire washer taken apart for this job but doable.

Hardest if working alone is removing and replacing the drum in & out of the washer - it's heavy and not much clearance. You will need new bolts to install the spinner. Clean out the spinner broken pieces from the pump, inlet hose, and drum. If the outer drum has hole(s), valves, pump, or the big rubber door seal are also bad, seriously consider junking the washer for another. Lots of problems and law suits with this washer.

Took me a few hours to fix. Installing part is easy. But putting everything back together takes a few hours. But was well worth the time. Saved me 800.00. Because I didn't have to by a new washer. Wife very happy. She loves her washer. Price was great also. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching YouTube videos before begin will help tremendously. Otherwise this repair/replacement is not so bad. Basic tools will do.

The part arrived with the mounting threads damaged due to the bolt punching through the shipping box during shipment and somehow being abraded and deformed during shipment. I dont know if it is salvageable. I have not been able to install it yet due to the need to try to repair the part.
