Easy to install
Thank goodness for YouTube. I was able to diagnose the problem I had from people that had similar issues with their small engines. I crossed my fingers, ordered the part and installed the coil. My engine no longer back fires, is easy to start and runs well. I'm pretty stoked!

Fixed my tractor that would quit running
My Sears tractor would start right up but quit running after 5-10 minutes. I tried the following and they did NOT work; fresh gas, new gas cap, new spark plug, cleaned the air filter, cleaned the carburetor, cleaned the gas tank, cleaned the carburetor linkage. Finally I installed a new ignition module (follow the spark plug wire back) and that fixed it instantly! The installation took maybe 20 minutes. I have since mowed my entire lawn twice and the tractor performed perfectly. My tractor is 22 years old.
