I had gone through other sites which told me the timer is VERY seldom the problem. So, I went in circles for a couple of days. Following the schematics back to the timer I pulled the trigger and low and behold! Couple screws unplug and plug and we are back to drying clothes for three families!

OEM part as listed. My dryer would not start. I was able to use an ohmmeter with the wiring diagram taped inside the control panel to confirm this switch was the problem. With the new switch installed, my dryer is working great.

Taking off the old timer took me some time, as I did not know how to unplug the two big white plugs (the ones with 3 holes). The new timer arrived with no installation instructions. I searched many videos online and eventually found out how to do it. The rest was very easy.

I spent far more time cleaning the back of the dryer while I had it out than I did removing the old timer and installing the new one. Probably spent less than 20 minutes on the install.

The timer was best price on the internet and delivered within the week It worked just fine. The package was already opened so I don't know if this unit was pretested or used. If delivery was faster and item sealed it would be a 5 Star...
