Reviews
transaxle fan
Putting on was easier then removing the old part. called in to find out about left hand or right-hand thread. After a time holding the person told me the wrong way. Had to use a air hammer gun to break nut loose.

Parts come from too many different shippers.
Ordered a belt and a trans cooling fan. They shipped the belt and B/O the fan. I contacted customer service to cancel the fan, I got it from another source. They never responded and have shipped the fan I now don't need.

Transaxel Fan
Access to part replacement was easy, but removing bolt w/inner plastic piece that broke was extremely hard, unless you have special tools (impact wrench). A regular socket would work if you can stop the flywheel from turning. This plastic fan piece, that wears out rather easy, is a poor design. Steel or metal fan would keep this from breaking. I have read this plastic fan has been a problem on this model.

PERFECT FIT
Pull the transaxle to remove the hex nut that holds the fan on. You might need an impact gun!

East to install if .....
There are 2 things to do to make this install easy. First set your parking brake. This allows slack in the drive belt to keep from pulling off the pulley. Second, if the nut does not come off with a wrench you will need to use an impact wrench. I had to and it spun the nut right off. It also tightened the nut correctly.
