Not an "easy" install but straight forward
Including steam defrosting to get access to the parts, the job took over two hours. There was some difficulty getting the new ice maker to snap back to the closed position after installation but even without a positive snap, it seems to work fine. Depressing the clips to remove the electrical connections is hard on the fingers--gloves recommended. There are several Youtube videos detailing the installation. I recommend reviewing one before starting the repair. Everything was a perfect fit and the ice maker functions perfectly.
