My experience

The first time the part was shipped I recieved a damaged component. I called Sears Parts Direct and had a replacement sent. The customer service was very quick and easy to work with. The customer service experience was so good I felt there was no need to drop the rating to 4 stars. As for the part, it seems to be decent. It was very easy to install and doesn't seem flimsy. Time will tell.

The reason I ordered this is becuase I suspected that the screws and the thread on this vent were stripped. I installed the new vent and screws. One week later, the screw pops out and the whole door falls apart. This is such a mess, I want to through the whole stove out the window.

The new vent arrived with a crack on the side. No padding or protective wrap during shipping. For a part that gets used so often, it really should be made of metal and not cheap, flimsy plastic.
