Installing rubber seal on oven top

The problem was on how to install the item. There were no instructions as to exactly how to put it on. If you just slid it onto the sharp edge of the control panel it would bunch up when wiping stove down. We took off the panel and put it on the edge of the burner side of the stove but still not sure that was right. I would love to see a video on how to install this item.
