Works to light the fridge.
This light is slightly different then the light that was original with the fridge. Pictured the bulb has 4 led lights in a row, but the purchased bulb has 3. The brightness does not fade. I would buy more to supply light in the fridge. GOOD FIND! For my Frigidaire Gallery. I tried to upload photo but it is not working.

Very Expensive light bulb
Light bulb was easy to install but finding a replacement was very hard because it was not a reg bulb. Had to order it from the Kenmore web site which was really easy. They had really fast delivery too. Only complaint it was very very expensive for a little refrigerator bulb.

The search for the replacement bulb was long and arduous; however the Sears rep on line worked through all the difficulties that I had encountered and made sure the bulb was the correct one! It was and works perfectly! There are many look alikes out there but do not meet the requirements for all freezers!

Bulb is only one that works
Sad that manufacturer would design a refrigerator that uses a proprietary appliance light bulb that costs over $40. (0ver $50 w shipping). Thus if you have to replace bulbs in both refrigerator and freezer section , it will set you back over $100 each time. This is a real rip off considering the refrigerator was only $750 new.
