Dremel to the rescue

The problem with installation that we came up against was difficulty removing the broken mounting ring on one side. Whatever coating had been added to the threads of the small screw effectively glued it to the metal inner ring. It took grinding that metal ring with a Dremel to get it off. After that, installation was simple.
